Accessibility

Our monthly meetings are held at Penwith District Council's offices [map], St. Clare, Penzance, in Committee Room 2, which is around the back of the main buildings (facing the St. Clare field)

Wheelchair symbolThe building is wheelchair accessible (including accessible toilet facilities)
There is car parking near the entrance (though we strive to minimise car usage and encourage car sharing where possible)
There are bicycle stands.
The number 10 (Heamoor/Madron) bus stops outside the swimming pool on request.
Hot and cold drinks are available.

The group aims to make all of its activities as widely accessible as possible. If you have any requirements, such as large print or Braille copies of minutes, we will do our utmost to accommodate you. Please contact us.

If you are not able to attend meetings personally, you may still participate via email or the Yahoo! Group.

Website accessibility

Sight impairment symbolOur website is intentionally missing a lot of flashy graphics etc. to make it more accessible.

Apart from the logo/heading on the main page, all of the text is displayed in whichever font is selected in your browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, etc.) and in whichever size is selected.

To change these options, as well as the colours of the text, links and background go to the Preferences on the Edit menu of your browser.

Some browsers may let you change the size of the text using a keyboard shortcut - on an iMac in Internet Explorer this is done by holding the "apple" key and pressing + or -

You may find a sans serif font such as Arial easier to read, or you may prefer a serif font such as Times New Roman.

Background colour choice may by default be grey or white but if you are dyslexic you may find a pink colour works well.
